President's Invitation to GC Session 2010

On June 24, 2010, and for the next ten days, representatives of the global Seventh-day Adventist Church will meet in Atlanta. The purpose of the meeting is to celebrate the internationality which is reflected in our global family. It is there for us to celebrate the spirituality which we share, and it is there to conduct business, primarily in electing the leadership of the church. It is an extraordinary and wonderful spiritual occasion.

I don't know what your plans for next summer look like, but whether you are a regular delegate, or an invited guest, or you're just one of the members of the Adventist family and you're considering what you should do next summer, I want to invite you to come and be with us during all or part of those ten days.

But whether you are there or not, I would invite you to pray with us. Pray that the spirit of the Lord will guide us in planning and preparing, so that God's plans and objectives for the session can be accomplished. God bless you. Thank you very much.
