Delegates
Welcome, delegates. You have been selected to represent your territory in the official decision-making processes of the Seventh-day Adventist Church. As one of 2,809 delegates from across the world field, you play a key role in shaping the policies, leadership, and strategic direction of the global Church for the next five years.
Your appointment reflects a prayerful process involving local churches, conferences, unions, and divisions. It signifies not only confidence in your spiritual discernment and leadership but also a broader trust in your capacity to speak on behalf of your region within a global context.
The responsibilities of a delegate extend beyond attendance. Participation requires careful study, thoughtful engagement, and a prayerful approach to every item brought before the body. Votes cast on leadership, constitutional matters, and Church policy carry lasting impact, influencing mission, governance, and ministry initiatives worldwide.
